Rick's 1st turkey weighed 18 lbs.,
had 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" spurs and a
11" beard. Congratulations Rick!

4/20/07 Nolan Cox holds a 20lb.
longbeard, 1 3/16" spurs and 10" beard he shot at 20 steps!

These 2 big jakes came in and Earnie couldn't resist this shot. Being a little excited, he managed to shoot over the top of both heads.
We all had a good laugh. It just shows you don't have to make a kill to enjoy the time spent together in the woods!

The Valdosta hunters harvested 9 mature Gould's turkeys on their hunt
in Sonora, Mexico.

Tim Tillman displays the New Georgia state record wild turkey he harvested with a bow & arrow. The big Tom had 4 beards and long spurs. Congratulations Tim!

John had a nice cool morning to shoot his 1st turkey. Two came in together and John dropped the hammer at 30 steps. 20lbs, 9 3/4" beard, 3/4" spurs.

Thomas McTier and John McTier team up to harvest one of our biggest birds of the season, 11 1/4" beard, 1 1/2" spur, 17 lbs.

Darrell Halstead called up this big gobbler for his grandson, Jacob Ferrell. The bird came a long way and Jake got his 1st turkey at 15 steps. The bird was 18.4 lbs,
had a 10" beard and 1" spurs. We enjoyed hunting with you and look forward to next year. Conratulations Jake & grandpaw!
